Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position requiring 2+ years of recent OASIS and HCHB experience, serving a geriatric patient population.

Details

Home health setting providing care to geriatric patients
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM-4:30 PM)
Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
No on-call requirement, though rotation may be discussed during interview
iPad provided for documentation; personal cell phone not required
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience required
OASIS experience required for completing Start of Care (SOC)
Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
BLS certification required; NBCOT certification preferred
Active driver's license and personal transportation required
License in hand required for consideration, if applicable
Hospice/Home Health Checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

Timely documentation and communication with the care team are mandatory
Traveler must be flexible with assigned territory
Dress code requires scrubs of any color; no jeans permitted
Orientation held on Mondays, including completion of billable modules
Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
Travel pairs accepted, but each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have personal transportation
Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
