Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced M/S Telemetry RN for a night shift, every-other-weekend position requiring an active Massachusetts RN license and strong cardiac telemetry background.

Details

• 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit
• Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30, 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• RN to patient ratio of 1:5 days and 1:6 nights
• Post cath care experience needed for PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation procedures, including TR band and femoral approach management
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional licenses accepted
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• 2+ years of experience with a strong cardiac background required
• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• 2 years of experience working as a traveler required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a busy medical cardiology unit including post-cath monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Local candidates must reside more than 60 miles from Boston to qualify for standard travel rate
• UKG/Kronos used for timekeeping
