Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring recent post-anesthesia experience and ACLS certification.
Details
- Ambulatory surgery center (outpatient surgery center) setting
- PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) unit
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2 PM
- 8-hour shifts, 5 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA state or Compact)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in PACU specialty
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
