Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and a NH or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a hospital with five OR suites plus an additional suite in labor and delivery
- Diverse patient population including inpatients and outpatients from infant to geriatric
- Surgical services mostly focused on ortho and trauma, with additional ENT, cataract removal, and C-section procedures
- RN to patient ratio of 1:1
- OR team includes RNs, registered nurse first assists, CSTs, and other assistive personnel
- Day shift schedule, 10.5 hours (06:30-17:00), 40 hours per week
- Call requirements include evenings, holidays, and weekends
Requirements
- Active RN license (NH or Compact)
- Current BLS certification
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years
- Must be willing to train in ENT, cataract removal, and C-section procedures if not already experienced
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care across a range of surgical, diagnostic, and invasive procedures
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical services team
- Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
