Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with pediatric sonography experience and ECMO procedure knowledge for a pediatric cardiac care setting.
Details
- Utilizes 4 scanners with Philips floor equipment
- Performs echocardiographic studies across fetal congenital (22+ weeks), pediatric heart disease, and adult congenital echocardiography
- Covers NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU
- Uses Epic EMR and PACS Fuji CV Synapse
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift schedule
- No weekend expectations
- No on-call requirements
- Closed on major holidays
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric sonography
- BLS and ARDMS required
- License required if applicable
- Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred
- Experience with ECMO procedures, including assisting with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement
- Extensive understanding of congenital and unusual forms of non-congenital heart disease
- Fetal echo experience encouraged
- Adult echo experience a plus
Additional Information
- Assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement
- Recognize and triage emergent situations
- Provide written communication to cardiologists
- Maintain equipment and perform logging and billing of procedures
- 1-2 week orientation provided
- Caribbean Blue scrubs required
