Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a VA or compact license and 2 years of experience with strong IV skills.
Details
- GI/Endoscopy unit handling approximately 25 patients per day (75% outpatient, 25% inpatient)
- Uses EPIC and EndoWorks EMR systems
- Day shifts scheduled 0700-1730, 4 shifts per week (days vary)
- Weekends and holidays covered via on-call rotation
- On-call required 1-2 times per week, including 10-hour Saturday and Sunday shifts and self-scheduled 2-hour weekday call
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active RN license (VA or Compact) required
- BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy nursing experience required
- Strong IV skills required
Additional Information
- One week of floor orientation provided
- Scrub requirements include navy blue pants with solid navy blue or white tops, and solid navy blue or white jackets
