Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring 2 years of experience and current NIHSS certification.
Details
- Neuro ICU unit with 18 beds
- 1:2 patient ratios, adjustable based on acuity
- Uses Epic EMR
- 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a
- Every other weekend required
- May float to the Neuro IMC unit
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
Additional Information
- Holiday coverage required for every other holiday, including 1 major and 1 minor holiday
- Floor orientation consists of 2 shifts, with additional shifts available if needed
- Dress code requires navy blue pants with solid navy blue or white tops, and solid navy blue or white jackets
