Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit, requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Interventional Radiology department
- 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekend shifts required
- On-call requirement of 1-2 nights per week plus every 6th Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS and SCRQSA certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Prior travel healthcare experience required
- Recent Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Pending state license accepted but must be obtained prior to start
- Candidates must pass a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and Moderate Sedation Test during orientation with only one attempt allowed
- All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application, as later requests will not be considered
- Attendance policy in effect; missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
- Candidates must report to the lab within 24 hours of signing
- Does not accept local candidates within 75 miles of the facility
- Former permanent staff of this health system are not eligible to return as travelers
