Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology position requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a cardiac IR setting
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekend shifts required
- On-call requirement of 1-2 nights per week and every 6th Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
- ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS (SCRQSA) certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Pending state license accepted, must be obtained prior to starting
- Recent Epic experience preferred but not required
- Prior travel experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
Additional Information
- Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation pass/fail tests administered on the first day of orientation with one attempt to pass
- Must report to the lab within 24 hours of signing
- Attendance policy in place; more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
- All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application, as later requests will not be considered
- Local candidates not accepted; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
- Former SRHS perm staff are not eligible to return as travelers to any SRHS facility
