Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg-Telemetry position requiring 2 years of Med/Surg experience and an active WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry Unit of a hospital environment
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required, though every 3rd weekend may be considered
• Every other holiday coverage required
• May need to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (WI or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide medical/surgical and telemetry nursing care
• Local candidates accepted, though pay rate may be adjusted based on proximity to the facility
• Candidates should begin discussing assignment extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
