Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a day shift teaching hospital role requiring 3+ years of current RRT experience.

Details

Respiratory Therapy department at a teaching hospital
12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week guaranteed
Every other weekend required, with holidays required if needed
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of current RRT experience required; CRTs will not be considered
Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
Active NBRC certification required
Active BLS (AHA) required
License required if applicable
Compact license not accepted
Candidate must have own vehicle for this assignment
One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

Additional Information

Facility is a teaching hospital offering a full continuum of medical specialties
Facility has received multiple patient safety awards and recognitions
Candidates must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled, including Thanksgiving and the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
All time-off requests must be submitted and verified prior to offer; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted and none will be approved after submission
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
Permanent address must be included in candidate profile for consideration
8 hours of non-billable orientation required
