Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience and the ability to independently manage STEMI cases.

Details

Acute care Cardiovascular Cath Lab unit with 1 procedure suite
Average of 1-3 cases per day
Common cases include LHC/RHC/PCI, peripheral interventions, pacemaker, and ICD procedures
Uses EPIC EMR
4x10 day shifts, typically 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Tuesday-Thursday, with 7:00 AM starts on case days falling on Monday/Friday
Call required, with a 30-minute response time
Weekend call approximately 2 times per month, occasionally 3
On-call rotation of 15 days
May float to assist in the stress lab
Holiday call is negotiable

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience with the ability to independently handle STEMI cases
Current BLS (AHA) certification
Certified Cardiovascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-CV) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
RT or RCIS credential required
KS state license required if applicable
Active state or compact licensure required; pending licenses not accepted
Driver's license copy required for consideration
Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC/RHC/PCI, peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker, and ICD implants
Cath lab-specific new hire orientation provided with unit lead
Scrubs provided
Clinicians must be in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are completed remotely
Local candidates considered
First-time travelers may be considered
