Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab unit, requiring 1+ year of experience and an active MI OT license.
Details
- Inpatient Rehab care setting
- Willow Creek Occupational Therapy department
- Caseload of 7-10 patients per day
- Diverse patient population including geriatric, pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic diagnoses
- Epic EMR used
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week with variable start time
- No weekend or holiday requirements
Requirements
- Active OT license for the state of MI required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Pediatric experience preferred but not mandatory
- Negative drug screen required for all panels as OSF is a Drug-Free Campus
Additional Information
- Provide general rehab care to a wide variety of patients under a lead therapist who also treats patients
- Support from a rehab tech who assists with cleaning and patient care tasks
- Department-specific orientation includes 1-2 shifts, Epic training, and mentored patient care start
- Business casual dress code
- Local rate available for clinicians with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility, though no radius rule applies
- Cancellation policy allows up to 12 hours off per 13-week assignment without penalty
