Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Tele RN with IL licensure and at least 2 years of specialty experience for a night shift contract.

Details

• 21-bed general medical observation unit specializing in telemetry, COPD, pneumonia, infections, and UTIs
• Comfortable managing patients on Bi-Pap and high flow O2
• Night shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope to similar units may be required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg-Tele specialty experience required
• 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to medical observation patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility with no exceptions
• Local candidates will not be considered
• RTO must be submitted with candidate profile
