Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric RRT for a busy Level I Trauma children's hospital, requiring 2+ years of recent PICU experience and prior travel experience.

Details

• Float pool position within a busy pediatric hospital's PICU unit
• Must be willing to float to sister facilities including Hughes Spaulding and AMBH, as well as ED and ICU units
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
• 13-week assignment with possible extension
• One holiday coverage required
• Level I Trauma setting
• NICU work setting

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required with proof of certification
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA only) certifications required
• GA Respiratory Care Professional license required (license required if applicable)
• Copy of diploma or associate degree program with RRT credentials required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience required
• Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
• PICU experience required
• Recent travel experience required
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Experience with FM-Intermediate/Advanced, ventilators, and triage required
• Knowledge of V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• BSN preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a fast-paced pediatric hospital setting
• Work as part of a float pool team supporting multiple units and sister facilities
• Facility is a nicotine-free campus and conducts cotinine/nicotine testing
• Minimal to no RTO accepted for this assignment
• First-time travelers are accepted if their resume demonstrates the required skills
• Candidates must complete labs, license verification, and offer sign-off within specified short timeframes to avoid having the offer rescinded
