Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and a predictable weekday schedule.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• Caseload of approximately 10 patients per day
• 45-minute evaluation and treatment sessions with 30 minutes of built-in documentation time
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8 hours per day
• EPIC EMR used
• 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Active PT license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA certification must be completed before start if non-AHA submitted)
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• This is a summer coverage position supporting the outpatient team
• Responsibilities include delivering skilled outpatient PT services, same-day documentation and billing, and discharge documentation within 24 hours
• Collaborates closely with the outpatient rehabilitation team
• Vacation requests during the week of July 4th cannot be approved
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
• Local candidates may be considered within a 90-mile radius of any affiliated facility, though local candidates are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Returning employees who have worked at an affiliated facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
