Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of OR circulating experience and a WV or compact RN license.

Details

Operating Room setting with 7 OR rooms at a Level III trauma facility
RN Circulator role covering General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and Da Vinci Robot specialties
Serves patients of all ages
1:1 patient ratio
Uses Meditech EHR
Equipment includes Zeiss microscope, Aquablation, Holmium laser, total joints, and ortho spine instrumentation, plus the Da Vinci robotic system
Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Every other weekend required with potential for additional coverage
Call requirements include 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
Interdepartmental floating required as needed

Requirements

Active RN license (WV or compact) required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
Experience circulating in General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and Da Vinci Robot specialties required
CNOR certification preferred
OR Scrub/Circulator experience preferred

Additional Information

Hospital offers a wide range of surgical services including da Vinci Robotic Surgery, Spine, Orthopaedic, Vascular, Thoracic, Interventional Pain Management, Interventional Cardiology, Gynecological, General, Oral, Urological, and Eye surgeries
Facility is accredited by the Joint Commission
Standard OR attire supplied by the facility; casual wear or other facility-branded attire not permitted
Professional and collaborative communication style expected
Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel pay rate
Candidates who worked perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Must not be employed elsewhere full time
