Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a CA RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

Labor & Delivery unit providing care to mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods
Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
13-week assignment length

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
DCI/BVP certification required

Additional Information

Deliver safe, direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Guide and direct patient/family teaching and oversee activities of other nursing personnel
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
Maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors
Utilize chain of command as needed to ensure appropriate patient care
Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travel
