Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of pediatric ICU experience for a night shift position at a children's hospital.

Details

• Pediatric inpatient setting including PICU, NICU, and ED
• Level I trauma center preferred
• Uses Epic EMR
• Specialty equipment includes Vapotherm, Optiflow, Oscillator, and IPV
• Administers continuous albuterol, intermittent MDI, and other nebulized medications
• 12-hour night shifts from 1900-0700
• Every other weekend required
• Flexible scheduling to meet department needs with required floating to additional campuses
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• ICU experience required
• Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED required
• Experience with inhaled nitric oxide, heliox, and ventilator management required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification preferred
• Active GA license required if applicable
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must work at least one winter holiday shift as needed by the department
• Facility is nicotine-free and requires nicotine and drug screening
• Flu vaccination required with no medical or religious exemptions accepted
• RTO must be submitted for consideration
