Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and pediatric experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical/Surgical unit of a 97-bed hospital
• 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday required
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required (compact license not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (AHA) required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to Med/Surg specialty required
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, treatments, and patient education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to establish and evaluate patient care goals
• Delegate and oversee support staff as team leader
• Navy blue dress code required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
