Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with conscious sedation skills for a day shift travel assignment requiring an active LA or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology Unit (IRU) of a hospital setting
- Unit staffed with 5 RNs and 4 techs
- Day shift schedule, all day shift staffing with night coverage on call only
- Patient ratios vary by case
- Uses Phillips Azurion and GE interventional radiology equipment
- Meditech EMR used
- Performs all interventional radiology procedures including fluid maintenance procedures
- On-call responsibilities include one night per week and one weekend per month
Requirements
- Active RN license (LA or compact) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience required
- Conscious sedation experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care during interventional radiology procedures
- Team-oriented environment seeking a strong team player
- Ceil Blue scrub color required
- Good attendance and communication skills preferred
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
