Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a surgery department position requiring OR circulator experience and rotating call coverage.

Details

• Work in a 5-room operating room surgical department
• Perform OR circulator duties across orthopedic, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic procedures
• 1:1 patient to nurse ratio
• Uses basic OR equipment including cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equipment, and positioning equipment
• Meditech EMR used
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating call required, minimum one weeknight per week and one weekend per 5-week schedule
• Weekend call shift available Friday 11 PM to 7 AM
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license, Texas or Compact, required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, AHA or ARC accepted
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR circulator experience required
• Must be able to fulfill rotating call requirements
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Scrubs provided at facility
• Flexible, caring, compassionate, and willing attitude preferred
• Must live outside a 50 mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
