Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring an active AL or compact RN license and 5 years of experience.
Details
- Medical Surgical combination unit in an acute care hospital setting
- 18-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Uses Meditech EHR
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekend requirement
- Every other weekend coverage expected
- Floating required
- No call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (AL or compact) required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
- Med/Surg nursing experience required
- AHA certifications required
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients
- Work alongside a team-oriented staff and take ownership of patient care responsibilities
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Monday orientation schedule
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
