Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Vascular Lab requiring 24+ months of hospital-based interventional vascular/IR experience.

Details

• Vascular Lab setting within a hospital or medical center
• 4x9 hour day shifts, 0700-1630 start, 36 hours per week
• Call requirement of 6-8 days per month including every 4th/5th weekend based on staffing needs
• EMR system used is Epic
• Holiday rotation required unless the unit is closed

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting preferred
• Proficiency in endovascular procedures preferred
• Experience with thrombolytics highly preferred
• Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• RCIS/CCI or ARRT certification preferred
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; license required if applicable
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred

• Work involves interventional vascular and IR lab procedures
• Candidates must be willing to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for the travel rate
• Prior UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) may be restricted from working travel assignments at other UPH facilities within 12 months of separation
