Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least one year of experience.

Details

• Medical Surgical Combination unit within a 175-bed acute care hospital
• Patient population spans all ages
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses GE equipment and Meditech/PACS-NovaRad EHR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Virginia or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Experience with general abdomen, routine vascular, small parts, pelvic, and OB required
• RVT certification with at least one year experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across a diverse Med/Surg patient population
• Scrubs of any color combination are acceptable
• Jeans and tee shirts are not permitted as part of the dress code
• Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
