Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week acuity adaptable unit assignment requiring WI or compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Acuity adaptable telemetry unit caring for ICU/IMC and Med/Surg patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 13-week assignment length
• May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• No artificial or acrylic nails; nails must be kept short (less than 1/4 inch)
• Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two separate professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across a mix of ICU/IMC and Med/Surg acuity levels
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
• Only one submission allowed per candidate system-wide within this health system
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before the assignment end date
