Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Free Standing Emergency Department role requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and TNCC certification.

Details

• Work in a 12-bed Free Standing Emergency Department
• Staffed with 3 RNs per shift on both day and night shifts
• Patient ratios of 1:4
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation required
• Floating to other FSED areas as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Preferred certifications: NRP
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Unit designated as a Stroke Center performing moderate sedation procedures
• Team-oriented personality valued for this fast-paced ER environment
• Scrub color required: Royal Blue
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• First-time travelers may be considered
