Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU/CCU RN for a night shift travel position requiring MO or compact RN license and ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications.

Details

• Work in an 8-bed Intensive/Coronary Care Unit
• Patient ratio of 1:2-3
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Floating required to Med Surg unit
• Uses Medhost EMR system
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Minimum 1+ years of recent ICU/CCU experience required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide round-the-clock specialized care to critically ill or injured patients including continuous monitoring, rapid assessment, and intervention
• Manage ventilators, medication drips, and complex equipment while collaborating with physicians on treatment plans
• Provide intensive, compassionate support to patients and families
• Any solid color scrubs permitted
• Local candidates within 50-mile radius will not be considered
• Requests for time off must be less than 1 week in duration
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
