Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Inpatient Rehab unit requiring night shifts and at least 1 year of rehab experience.

Details

• Acute Inpatient Rehab hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7p-7a
• May float to Med-Surg if rehab census is low and assistance is needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Open to accommodating block schedules
• Uses Paragon charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience required, rehab experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with acute rehab patient populations including CVA, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic conditions preferred
• Skilled in IV therapy, wound care, and tracheostomy care preferred
• Pending licenses not accepted
• References may be pending at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within an acute rehab setting, including mobility, wound care, and patient education
• Responsibilities include fall risk assessment, infection prevention, and pain management
• No approved RTO permitted from 2/08/27 through 3/31/27 due to facility Epic implementation
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to be eligible
