Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, requiring 2+ years of OB ultrasound experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification.

Details

Maternal-Fetal Medicine department performing diagnostic imaging on patients from 1st to 3rd trimester high-risk pregnancies
Scans include NT, 1st trimester, biophysical profile (BPP), detailed level II, twins/triplets, umbilical artery doppler, middle cerebral artery doppler, and transvaginal studies
Patient ratio of 1:9
Uses Epic EMR
Uses GE ultrasound equipment
5x8 hour day shifts from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM with variable days

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Minimum of 2 years experience as an OB ultrasound sonographer
BLS certification required
ARDMS OB/GYN certification required, ARDMS FE preferred
CA state license required if applicable
Prior travel experience required
Skilled in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scanning, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, nuchal translucency screen, and placenta previa assessment

Additional Information

Performs routine and specialized sonography procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease in high-risk OB and maternal-fetal medicine patients
Accepts local candidates at the local rate within a 50-mile radius
Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request allowed per contract
Must complete compliance labs within 3-5 days of contract signing
