Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an IMCU night shift position requiring an IN or compact RN license and 1-2 years of critical care experience.

Details

• Intermediate care unit (IMCU/Telemetry) setting in a hospital
• 30-bed unit with patient ratios of 5:1 or 4:1
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required, may float to Med/Surg
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of recent Critical Care experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Fast-paced intermediate care unit environment
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Holiday blackout dates dependent on facility need
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
