Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (R)(M) certification and 2+ years of recent experience to perform mammography procedures in an outpatient setting.

Details

• Outpatient and inpatient mammography department
• 5x8 day shifts, with hours of 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 11:30 AM-8:00 PM
• Occasional Saturday and evening shifts required
• Patient ratio of 1:28
• Epic EMR experience required
• Performs 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, screening mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy
• Uses Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience
• ARRT (R)(M) and CRT (R)(M) certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of recent relevant experience
• Knowledge of digital quality assurance procedures, isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, and universal precautions/core measures

Additional Information

• Follows radiation safety and infection control protocols in all procedures
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract, with only 1 holiday request allowed per contract
• Holidays observed include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Accepts local candidates at a local rate within a 50-mile radius
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
