Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Ortho/Stepdown unit requiring compact RN licensure and NIHSS certification for night shift coverage.

Details

• Mixed acuity Med/Ortho/Stepdown unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license - Single State or Compact (CO) required
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, with at least 1 year in the specialty
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients
• Conduct health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Returning Intermountain employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
