Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a BSN, NJ or compact license, and prior IR experience.
Details
- Covers multiple radiology sites including Interventional Radiology, CT, and MRI
- Day shift, 4x10 hours, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekend rotation required
- Floating to the Ridgewood Observation Unit as needed
- Unit-based training provided for CT and MRI to qualified candidates
Requirements
- Active NJ or compact RN license in hand
- BSN required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Prior Interventional Radiology experience required
- CT and MRI experience preferred
- Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia Exam with a minimum score of 80%, no retakes permitted
- Proficiency in systematic EKG rhythm interpretation, heart rate calculations, and identification of atrial, ventricular, junctional, paced rhythms, and heart blocks
Additional Information
- Perform nursing duties across Interventional Radiology, CT, and MRI departments
- Must begin required lab work within two business days of offer acceptance
- Completes pre-start, orientation, and annual specialty modules as required
- Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this assignment
- Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate
