Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night shift ED/Med Surg travel position requiring 2+ years of experience and the ability to work independently as the sole RT on shift.

Details

• ED/Med Surg unit with 11 beds
• Patient population includes all ages (adult, geriatric, pediatric)
• Uses Transport Ventilator/Bipap equipment including Hamilton T1, Astral 150, and Vapotherm
• EHR systems: Meditech and Medhost experience required
• Night shift, 7P-7A
• Rotating weekend hours, every other weekend
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• CRT/RRT certification required
• Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care License required (license required if applicable)
• ABG endorsement required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Must be able to work independently as the only RT on shift
• Strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgment required
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to start

Additional Information

• Work under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Care
• Positive attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision valued
• Any scrub color accepted
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be eligible at local rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
