Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring 2+ years of recent specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Acute Medical Med/Surg unit setting
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 3 shifts per week, hours vary from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within Med/Surg specialty
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not considered
- Returning staff who were previously permanent employees must have a 2 year break before returning as travelers
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
