Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level 3 Trauma experience and a full set of specialty certifications.
Details
- 28-bed Emergency Department at a Level 3 Trauma Center
- Chest Pain Center accredited with Primary PCI and Stroke Certified
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Staffing includes CNC, RNs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter on day and night shifts, with PCTs on mid shift
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Uses GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
- Documents in Meditech Expanse EMR
Requirements
- Active KY or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Deliver emergency nursing care within a Level 3 Trauma Center environment
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
- First-time travelers may be considered
