Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift contract requiring 2+ years of recent acute care experience and active IL RN licensure.

Details

• Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Full-time night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM start), 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• First to float to like units
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• American Heart Association certifications preferred; American Red Cross accepted for BLS
• 2+ most recent years of experience in an acute care hospital setting required
• Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history
• 2 current supervisor/manager/charge references from the applicable clinical area within the last year required

Additional Information

• Holiday coverage required
• Non-billable orientation of 12 hours, held on Mondays
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be away for 12 months before being considered as a travelers
• RTO guidelines: 8-week contracts allow a maximum of 3 days off; 13-week contracts allow a maximum of 7 days off
• Facility conducts a brief interview (approximately 10-15 minutes) as part of the hiring process
