Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring 1-3 years of OT experience and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Details

Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
General patient population including stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, and debility cases
Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekend coverage required once a month
EPIC and Rehab Connect EHR systems used

Requirements

Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
AHA certifications required
License required if applicable
Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehab hospital preferred
Basic computer knowledge and strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Additional Information

Provide individualized rehabilitation care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
Work within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program
Collaborate as part of a cooperative, team-oriented care team
Black scrubs required
Report time between 7:30-8:00 AM
First-time travelers may be considered
Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full-time
Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
