Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a 6-week day shift contract requiring an active IL RN license and at least 3 years of telemetry experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Telemetry unit setting
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- First to float among staff
- Epic EMR used, experience required
Requirements
- Active IL Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of telemetry nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history
- 2 current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the relevant specialty within the last year
- At least one travel reference preferred
Additional Information
- Must work Thanksgiving Day
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- 24 hours of orientation required, including 12 non-billable hours across two 12-hour shifts
- Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated from employment for 12 months before being eligible as a traveler
- RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for 8-week contracts and 7 days for 13-week contracts
- First-time travelers may be considered
