Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist for a cardiac ultrasonography role requiring 2+ years of cardiac experience in a large hospital setting and RDCS/ARDMS certification.

Details

Day shift, 8-hour shifts with start times varying from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM
26-week contract assignment
No weekend, on-call, or major holiday requirements
No floating requirements
Uses Philips Epiq 7 ultrasound machines

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program
Minimum of 2 years cardiac experience in a large hospital setting
RDCS and ARDMS certification required
CPR or BLS certification required
License required if applicable
Knowledge of electrocardiography, arrhythmias, and conduction disturbances
Knowledge of sterile technique and basic math/algebra principles
Ability to use defibrillator and crash cart equipment
Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Ability to work effectively with critically ill or injured adult patients
Ability to recognize and report equipment problems or malfunctions
Ability to carry out basic clerical activities

Additional Information

Work with critically ill and injured adult patients, ensuring patient cooperation and safety during procedures
Recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies
COVID-19 vaccine or religious/medical exemption required
New graduates will not be considered for this position
