Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring 4 years of cardiovascular lab or critical care experience and a MO or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Catheterization unit providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations
- Day shift, Monday through Thursday, 07:00-17:30
- On-call required
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross) required
- Minimum 4 years clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in Critical Care required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care in the surgical environment
- Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient condition
- Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory, and procedure room readiness
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor and record patient condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular Lab
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
