Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room with Level 1 trauma experience for a night shift position requiring prior travel and high-volume hospital experience.

Details

• Operating Room setting at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week (6:45 PM-7:15 AM)
• Weekend rotation required, approximately 4 weekend shifts per month
• Holiday coverage required
• No block scheduling available
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• High rating on skills checklist required, including neuro and vascular competencies
• Experience in high-volume, high-acuity hospital settings with complex and diverse cases required
• Proven success managing critical, fast-paced trauma situations required
• Proficiency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard applications required
• Must have access to electronic devices to utilize required applications

Additional Information

• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveler pay
