Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient setting requiring at least 1 year of outpatient PT experience and BLS certification.

Details

Primarily outpatient setting with some acute care coverage in the hospital when outpatient scheduling allows
Day shift, 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
No weekends required
Treats patients with orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiac diagnoses, including post-op orthopedic aftercare and generalized weakness

Requirements

State license required, if applicable
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience required
Prior travel experience required
Skilled in patient assessment and body mechanics
Experience treating orthopedic conditions including cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical/shoulder/spinal surgery, spinal conditions, total hip replacement, and total knee replacement
Experience treating neurologic conditions including cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury
Knowledgeable in home exercise program development and patient/family education
