Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of experience and current ARRT (R) certification for a teaching hospital's Radiology department.

Details

• Work in a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging department offering MRI, high-speed CT, ultrasound, x-ray, mammography, and more
• Four 9-hour afternoon shifts, Monday-Friday, from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage if needed
• On-call requirements apply
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience, including 1 year current experience
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• License required if applicable
• Must have reliable personal vehicle for commuting

Additional Information

• Perform a wide variety of technical radiologic procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems
• Practice infection control and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with hospital policy
• Attend annual mandatory education including bloodborne pathogens and infection control training
• Maintain continuing education in radiology and mammography
• Must work two major holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas through New Year weekend, and New Year's weekend
• No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and all requests must be submitted at time of application
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
