Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and active IL and IA RN licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg and Med/Surg-Telemetry unit within a Clinical Resource Team
• 1:5-6 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float across multiple campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, Muscatine)
• May float to the Stepdown unit as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
• IA RN license required, or proof of application for IA single-state or compact license
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Stepdown/Cardiac experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Driver's license required
• Resume/work history required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year required
• License verification required
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Contribute clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Provide care management for Med/Surg and Med/Surg-Telemetry patient populations
• Must have a taxable address outside 50 miles of the facility to qualify for travel rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
