Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and an appropriate echocardiography credential.
Details
- Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer role within Diagnostic Cardiology department
- 4x10 hour day shifts, schedule varies between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience within the echocardiography specialty
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Appropriate echocardiography credential required: RDCS (ARDMS), RCS or RCCS (CCI), CRCS (Sonography Canada), or ACS (CCI)
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Returning staff who previously worked as permanent employees must have a 2 year break before returning as a traveler
