Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift contract requiring 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Telemetry unit position
• 12-hour night shifts, start time 19:00
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• First to float to like units as needed
• No on-call requirements
• 8-week contract length

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; temporary licenses accepted if proof of permanent application submission is provided
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Must pass EKG test with 80% or higher score prior to consideration, and an onsite pass/fail EKG test on Day 1 of orientation
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required
• New graduates not accepted
• Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in employment history
• Two current professional references from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge in the relevant specialty area within the last year, with at least one travel reference preferred

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within a hospital setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must have a 12-month gap before being eligible as a traveler
• RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for this 8-week contract
• Candidates should be prepared for a brief onsite interview as part of the hiring process
