Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a hospital assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and GA or Compact RN licensure.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit setting
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
- Every other weekend required
- On-call requirement of one 12-hour shift per schedule
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
- Skilled in Labor and Delivery Management
- Experience circulating for C-sections
- Copies of required certifications needed for consideration
- Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Former Piedmont permanent, PRN, or internal staff must be separated from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler
- Travelers previously cancelled or deemed not returnable must complete one successful assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, must be finalized at time of submission with no changes allowed after offer or during orientation week
- Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment: one holiday RTO request may be considered only if three holidays occur during the contract
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
- Shift and schedule as listed are firm with no alternate requests permitted
- Travel pairs are not permitted on the same shift and unit
- Full compliance required prior to start, with documentation due the Tuesday before start date
