Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring 2+ years of L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby experience.
Details
- LDRP unit providing antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal care
- Day shift schedule, 7a-7p
- Flexible to float to other units based on facility needs
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
- PALS required, can be obtained within 30 days of start if needed
- AWHONN preferred, can be completed onsite
- 2+ years of recent L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby experience required
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- AHCA required for FL placement
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide shift accountability for safe obstetrical care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
- Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgement, and leadership in planning safe delivery of patient care
- Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
- Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
- RTO requests must be less than one week
