Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN requiring active Oregon and Washington licensure and at least 1 year of skilled home health experience.

Details

• Skilled Home Health setting serving an adult patient population
• 8-hour day shift schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• 1:1 patient ratio with up to 6 patients per day
• Approximately 30 productivity points per week
• Weekend support may be required
• No on-call requirement
• Travel pairs accepted, with each clinician assigned their own territory and required to have their own transportation

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) and Washington (WA) RN licenses required prior to start; temporary licenses not accepted
• Minimum of 1 year of skilled home health experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• OASIS documentation experience required, particularly for Start of Care (SOC)
• Proficiency in Home Care Home Base (HCHB) charting system required
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
• First-time travelers not accepted for this role

Additional Information

• Provide skilled home health nursing care including admission assessments, start of care, recertification, resumption of care, and discharge visits
• Perform wound care, medication administration and management, and pain assessment using verbal and nonverbal pain scales
• Document clinical assessments and vital signs using HCHB and OASIS systems
• Service area may occasionally extend up to 60 miles or 60–90 minutes of total daily driving; visits are grouped to minimize travel time
• Business casual attire required; scrubs permitted but optional, no jeans allowed
• Mileage reimbursed at the current IRS standard rate; free parking provided
• Up to 3 days of RTO may be automatically approved; blackout periods include the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Local clinicians accepted within a 50–75 mile radius at the same pay rate
• Former permanent employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
